paroxetine

n.
an antidepressant drug that acts by prolonging the action of the neurotransmitter serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine) in the brain (see SSRI). It is taken by mouth for the treatment of depression, obsessive–compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and some other anxiety disorders; side-effects may include nausea, indigestion, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, and rash.
